Dear sisters,

As some of you may have seen on my Instagram, I recently returned from Medina 🤍. I went there to explore the possibilities for hijra for myself and my two children. Alhamdulillah, I found the clarity, peace, and options I was searching for.

With that intention, I returned with the hope of going back to Medina again soon, in shaa Allah, together with my children. However, at this moment I am still working on finishing and selling the dresses first, so that we can cover the costs of the tickets for this next step in shaa Allah. 

Immediately after returning from Medina, I finally received the new clothing I had been waiting for for almost a year. Alhamdulillah, our seamstress completed them. I first picked everything up myself in Almere and then carefully checked everything once I got home.

Honestly, the quality of the fabric is absolutely beautiful exactly as I had envisioned. The fabric feels perfect, thick and stretchy, perfect for winter, and the colors are stunning: a very soft cream shade and a deep, elegant dark brown.

Unfortunately, when I opened the packages and unpacked the dresses, I discovered that the sizing was incorrect. The dresses turned out much smaller than intended, and especially the sleeves were too short.

After this, I searched for solutions for a long time. I could not find the right fabrics and colors. Therefore, I ultimately decided to carefully open some of the dresses and use the existing fabric to lengthen the sleeves.

Please note that because this solution was done by hand, it is possible that the finishing of the sleeves is not exactly as you are used to from us as I do not own a coverlock machine, which gives you the perfect finishes. However, I truly did my very best to finish them as neatly and beautifully as possible.

My own daughter has been a fan of this dress model for years. She has worn it with so much love, and that is why I had already decided to have this dress sewn for the collection of Muhajirun.co, hopefully to share the same joy as my daughter experiences wearing her favorite winter abaaya.  

Please note that these dresses run slightly smaller. A 10-year-old girl with a slim to regular build can wear the dress comfortably. However, the dress is not suitable for children who are above the average weight range.

These dresses are therefore best suited for girls with a slim to regular build.

The sizes we have available is: 3&4 years, 5&6 years, 7&8 years, 9&10 years!
